The Pocket Neo 2 manages to combine portability and versatility: 300 g, a foldable 50 mm body, heat capped at 57°C, less than 60 dB and attachments for smoothing or curling. Its 1,300 W output suits short to medium hair best, and the lack of reviews calls for some patience. For travelling without giving up on styling, it is a coherent option.

Dreame Pocket Neo 2 : complete overview
A dryer that folds away for travel The Dreame Pocket Neo 2 is a foldable 300 g hair dryer with a body just 50 mm across. Folded up, it slips easily into a travel bag or a drawer. According to the manufacturer, its 110,000 rpm motor and 1,300 W of power dry short hair in about 40 seconds; longer hair will naturally take more time.
Moderate heat and restrained noise The stated maximum temperature is 57°C, a moderate figure that limits heat stress on the hair. Six layers of noise reduction keep the sound level below 60 dB, which helps if you get ready early in the morning or share your home. The ion generator releases 300 million negative ions to help reduce frizz and static.
Attachments for styling The Pocket Neo 2 comes with an anti-frizz nozzle and barrels for creating curls, which makes it more than a basic back-up dryer. As a new model, it has no published reviews yet, and the number of heat and speed settings is not specified. If you are torn between this and the Pocket Pro 2, the latter mainly stands out for its four attachments.
