Dreame X40 Ultra Complete — Robot Vacuum & Mop

Upgraded from a basic robot vacuum and the difference is night and day. The removable mops are brilliant – they detach when it reaches the living room carpet and reattach for the kitchen tiles. The 70°C hot water wash keeps the mop pads genuinely clean, not just rinsed. The extendable side brush gets right into corners. Absolutely worth the investment.

The X40 Ultra Complete does an excellent job cleaning our three-bed semi. The MopExtend RoboSwing feature means it actually cleans under the sofa properly. Hot water mopping at 70°C leaves the kitchen floor spotless. My only gripe is the app – it's functional but the interface feels cluttered. The robot itself is fantastic though, well worth the money.

We have a golden retriever and the hair was everywhere. The X40 Ultra Complete handles it without getting tangled. The 10.5mm mop lift is enough to keep our rugs dry while mopping the hardwood floors around them. The OmniDirt detection is clever – it goes over dirtier areas multiple times. The 7-in-1 station means I barely touch the thing. Highly recommend for pet owners.

The X40 Ultra Complete is packed with features and performs brilliantly once set up properly. Took me about 30 minutes to get everything configured in the app – mapping rooms, setting no-go zones, adjusting water temperature. Once done, it just works. The 260-minute battery easily covers our 120sqm flat. Only minor issue is the station takes up a fair bit of space.
