I was sceptical about smart hair dryers, but the Dreame Dazzle genuinely delivers. The automatic attachment recognition adjusts temperature and airflow the instant you connect a nozzle — it is seamless. The real-time display showing temperature and mode is brilliant for peace of mind. My medium-length hair dries in just over 2 minutes, which has completely transformed my morning routine. The 300 million negative ions make a visible difference to shine.

The 110,000 RPM motor on the Dazzle is genuinely impressive. My wife's thick hair dried in about 4 minutes — her previous dryer took close to 15. The Smooth Flow nozzle is her favourite because it straightens and curls with the reverse comb, saving her from using a separate flat iron. At 480 grams it is lighter than it looks. The NTC sensor doing 300 temperature checks per second is reassuring technology.

The smart attachment recognition is a genuinely useful innovation — no more fiddling with buttons. The display shows everything you need. The five attachments cover most styling needs and the ionic output is noticeably effective. I took off one star because it took me a few days to work out which attachment is best for my curly hair. Once you learn the system, results are outstanding. The 60 dB noise level is pleasantly quiet.

Bought the Dazzle as a gift and it went down extremely well. The real-time temperature display is a standout feature — you always know what heat your hair is getting. The 2-minute drying claim is realistic for shoulder-length hair. The magnetic attachment system clicks satisfyingly into place. Only minor gripe: the dryer body is slightly bulkier than some competitors. Overall a premium product.

The Dazzle is undeniably clever. The smart recognition works as advertised and the drying speed is remarkable. The 300 million ions per cubic centimetre genuinely reduce frizz. However, for what is essentially a hair dryer with five attachments, the price feels steep. The Smooth Flow nozzle with reverse comb is handy but not a replacement for a dedicated straightener if you have very thick hair.
