The AirStyle Shine has completely transformed how I style my hair. The Coanda effect draws my hair around the barrel automatically — no more awkward manual wrapping like with a traditional curling iron. The 40 mm barrel creates gorgeous flowing waves for my medium-length hair. The smoothing brush attachment is also impressively effective. One device replaces my curling iron, straightener and dryer. The adjustable airflow is a thoughtful feature.

Bought the AirStyle Shine as an anniversary gift. My wife was comparing it with a well-known competitor and chose to keep the Dreame. The Coanda effect genuinely works — hair wraps itself around the barrels. The reverse comb function for straightening is a real bonus. The adjustable airflow adapts perfectly to different hair types. At 550 grams and 61 dB, it is comfortable for daily use. Excellent product.

The AirStyle Shine excels at creating curls thanks to the Coanda effect. Both auto-curling barrels give superb results — the 30 mm for tight curls and the 40 mm for loose waves. The flyaway taming attachment works well on baby hairs. However, the smoothing brush and reverse comb function are less convincing than a dedicated straightener. If curls are your priority, this is the ideal tool. For pure straightening, consider a dedicated flat iron.

The adjustable airflow on the AirStyle Shine is a standout feature. My partner appreciates being able to lower the power for her fine hair and increase it for thicker sections. The auto-curling barrels genuinely work through the Coanda effect — strands wrap naturally. The gentle heat mode preserves shine beautifully. The 2.5-metre cable provides good reach. A very capable multi-function styler overall.

The Coanda effect works, but not quite as effortlessly as the marketing suggests. You still need to position the strand correctly for the effect to kick in. Once you get the hang of it, the curls are lovely and hold well throughout the day. The smoothing brush is decent but not a straightener replacement. The flyaway attachment is useful. The price feels a touch high for 5 attachments.
